What's the difference between UniFi OS Server and the UniFi Network Application?
UniFi OS Server is Ubiquiti's newer platform that runs UniFi Network, Protect, Access and Talk together, with built-in remote access through unifi.ui.com. The Network Application is the classic, self-contained controller for UniFi Network only. We host both — tell us your setup and we'll recommend and run the right one.
Can you host UniFi Protect, Access and Talk too?
Yes. On UniFi OS Server we can host your full UniFi stack — Network, Protect (cameras), Access (door control) and Talk (phones) — on one managed, private controller.
Is my controller private, or shared with other customers?
Private. Every customer gets their own dedicated controller instance — never shared — so your configuration and data stay isolated and yours alone.
How do backups work?
We take nightly, encrypted backups of your controller to off-site storage and monitor every job. Need to restore or download one? Grab it from your portal, or just ask us.
Can you migrate my existing UniFi controller?
Yes, and it's free. Whether you're on a Cloud Key, a Dream Machine, another host, or your own server, we migrate your controller and re-adopt your devices with minimal disruption.
Do I still need a Cloud Key or on-site hardware?
No. Your controller lives in our cloud, so there's no Cloud Key or on-site server to buy, power, patch or replace. Your UniFi devices simply connect to the hosted controller.
How much does UniFi hosting cost?
Plans start at $5/mo with straightforward pricing and no per-device surprises. Larger and multi-site deployments get a custom quote.
Is there a contract?
No. Hosting is month-to-month, it's your controller and your data, and you can export or leave anytime — no lock-in.
Can I manage it myself, or do you?
Both. We handle updates, backups and security by default, and you can make day-to-day changes yourself through the UniFi app or web UI — plus a portal for billing, backups and update control.
Do you support multi-site and MSP deployments?
Yes. Run many sites and clients from a single hosted controller — a great fit for MSPs and organizations with multiple locations.
